Dan Fitzgibbons’ Commitment to Charity

November 20, 2016
For Dan Fitzgibbons, Minneapolis is an important place, in part because family and community have always been major priorities role in his life. Dan grew up in Fargo, North Dakota, where he attended Holy Spirit Grade School and Shanley High. In high school, he was active in drama and with the Sandpebbles singing group, as well as a key club, while he also played football, golf, and hockey. His university education started at North Dakota State University, although he transferred just over the state line to Moorhead State University in Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration.

Eventually, for Dan Fitzgibbons, when he started his career, Minneapolis, Minnesota became his community. As the Data Protection Business Manager for the Minneapolis office of EMC Corporation, a very prominent international technology company, he has attained a status as a prominent businessman. Living in Minneapolis with his beautiful wife and two children, he has grown to love the place and he always tries to help those who haven’t been as lucky. For example, he works closely with Loaves and Fishes, a massive program that serves hundreds of thousands of nutritious, hot meals to the poor every year. He has also partnered with Allan Law’s 363 Days Food Program, which distributes thousands of nutritious sandwiches to the hungry and homeless. Community is very important to Dan Fitzgibbons, and by all rights, Minneapolis should be glad to have him.
